Vertigo Candy & Chocolate Pops: Dizzingly Good!

It’s not often that you run across a super tasty, long-lasting sweet treat that’s also low in calories and fat. Well, I have found one, and I’m unbelievably excited about it. It’s my new addiction! I discovered Vertigo Candy & Chocolate Pops when I won a gift bag of edible goodies at a recent library event. There it was, a single lolly tucked away at the bottom of the bag, resting inconspicuously in its brown wrapper. Having lost 114 pounds, I’m always on the lookout for yummy stuff that won’t catapult me into high-calorie hell. A lot of times, flavor is sacrificed for quality ingredients or a low calorie count. Not so in the case of Vertigo Candy & Chocolate Pops. They do it all!

These taste bud-friendly lollies come in three flavors: Chocolate Caramel, Chocolate Cookies & Cream, and Chocolate Strawberry. One side of the pop is milk chocolate; the other is hard candy. They have 80 calories per pop and only 3 grams of fat. Wow! All three flavors are delicous: Chocolate Strawberry, Cookies & Cream and Chocolate Caramel.

I get my Vertigo fix at the local dollar store. You can’t beat three for a buck. They are a great way to satisfy that late-night chocolate craving we all get once in a while. Well, some of us get it nearly every night, but no matter. These perfect pops are low enough in calories and fat that you could have one or two every night and still lose weight… or maintain your current weight loss.

I particularly like to take these pops with me to the movies. I love seeing movies on the big screen, and though I hate to admit it, I’m a huge fan of movie theatre popcorn. When that buttery smell wafts over me, I immediately start salivating. It’s really hard to resist buying some, and even a kid size container is a dieters’ nightmare. Between the crunchy corn and the array of sugary snacks the theatre concession offers, it’s nearly impossible to stick to a healthy eating plan while enjoying the latest flick. But, now that I have found the Vertigo Pops, I’m all set! I just throw a couple pops into my purse along with a bottle of water, and I’ve got something delicious to keep my mouth occupied from the previews all the way through the closing credits. It’s practically a dream come true!

They say you can’t have your cake and eat it, too. With Vertigo Candy & Chocolate Pops, now you can!
