Another healthy helper at your fingertips

Yesterday, I came across an interesting website called Zeer.  It provides consumer reviews on all kinds of food products.

“We’ve all heard the saying “you are what you eat.
But how many of us really know what we’re putting in our bodies? With Zeer as a guide you can be confident in your decisions.”

The site offers a robust search tool, so that if you’re curious about a new product, you can search the reviews it’s received.  Nice way to decide if you’re going to try something.

In addition to reviews, it offers organizational tools that I find quite promising.  You can create an online shopping list and record what you’ve already got in your pantry.  That would be very handy for me, especially as I delve more and more into cooking.

You can also join like-minded consumers in various communities, focused on topics like organic food, beer, wine, pet issues, etc.  Kinda neat, although not as appealing to me as the online lists.

Although it doesn’t seem to explicitly say it, it appears you can join for free.  And, you don’t have to join to read the product reviews.  Check it out!

Knowledge may be power, but it can be a bummer. A new low!
